Resources · Refunds

If plans change.

Availability first — the public website and app collect no card or deposit. After operations approves the request and sends complete written terms, NIRO may issue a personalized, time-limited Stripe Checkout link.

Skywriting is live theater with weather as a co-director, so the policy is built around rescheduling first, refunds where they're fair.

If you cancel

Tell us as soon as plans change. Because crew, airspace, travel, materials, and third-party commitments differ by show, the written booking confirmation must state the exact cancellation deadlines and refundable amounts before NIRO issues Checkout. That agreed schedule applies, subject to rights provided by law. If the schedule is missing or does not match Checkout, do not pay and ask NIRO to correct it.

If the weather cancels

Unsafe weather never requires a risky flight. NIRO first offers a mutually agreeable replacement date with no additional service fee. If no mutually agreeable date is found within 90 days, NIRO refunds the amount paid for the unperformed service.

If we decline or can't fly your show

If SkyWrite cannot perform an approved show because required airspace authorization cannot be obtained, equipment or crew is unavailable, NIRO cancels, or the approved message must be declined, you may accept a mutually agreeable replacement plan or receive a full refund for the unperformed service.

How payment and refunds move

SkyWrite Pro retainers

A Pro retainer renews monthly only when both the written confirmation and Stripe Checkout clearly show a monthly subscription. Cancellation stops future renewals. Any refund for the current period and any production work already approved follow the written confirmation and applicable law.
